Low Carb Bun for Burger

A lot of times I wrap my burger in lettuce but once and a while I like to have that bun. I found this recipe on beautyandthefoodie.com. I think it is one of the better buns to use when you are making that great hamburger. I found it is sturdy and is not over bearing with egg. It is a thin bun but a lot of bun is NOT needed for your hamburger.
If you don’t have a whoppie pan you can use a ramkin dish to bake your buns in or just pour your batter in a round circle. It would be better if it had edges though.

This recipe is a must to try!

4 eggs

2 Tbls. butter

2 ½ T coconut flour

2 ½ Tbls. golden flax meal

3 1/2 tsp. Heavy cream

The recipe at beautyandthefoodie.com does have other options in the recipe,

but what I have listed here is what I used for the recipe.

Preheat oven 400F

Soften butter

In a food processor add all the ingredients, mix well until smooth.

Grease pan with butter or coconut oil. I used wax paper to apply the butter.

Pour batter into pan, bake on middle rack for 12 to 15 minutes.
