Low Carb Peanut Butter Mousse


I was graving for something sweet and wanted to find something different and didn’t realize I haven’t put any desserts on my site in a while. Doing a search on the net I found this Low Carb Peanut Butter Mousse on “alldayidreamaboutfood.com“. I found it a very quick and easy recipe to make. It is very rich and the peanut butter flavor is mild but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it stopped me from getting into the bad stuff.

So lets get started and I will show you how to amake it!



1/2 cup heavy cream (35%)

4 oz cream cheese

2 tablespoons no sugar added organic peanut butter ( I use crunch peanut butter)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup powdered erythritol

In a medium bowl add cream, using electric mixer, whip until the cream forms peaks. Set aside.

In another medium bowl, add peanut butter, cream cheese, vanilla and sweetener. With an electric mixer, mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Add the whipped cream and mix thoroughly.

Place in serving dishes

Optional: Sprinkle with shredded 85% dark chocolate

Servings: 5

Yield: 3.4 net carbs
