Low Carb Cauliflower, Bacon, Onion and Cheese

Your trying to keep your weight down and don’t want to get bored eating low carb. What can I do with Cauliflower I ask myself, steaming it all the time can get pretty boring and you want to keep on track to losing or maintaining your weight. Well I remember taking some aluminum foil throwing in potatoes, onion and some spices so why can’t we do this with cauliflower which is low carb compared to potatoes. This is how I came up with Low Carb Cauliflower, Bacon, Onion and Cheese. It is a great combination I’m sure you will love it!

Makes 4 Servings

Low Carb Cauliflower, Bacon, Onion and Cheese 0251 head of cauliflower
1 tbl oregano
1 tps Herbemare Spice (any spice you would like)
1 pound of cooked bacon
1 cup of cheddar cheese
5 green onions
2 sheets of heavy aluminum foil

Cut a pound of bacon into four sections; cook up in frying pan set aside.
Tear 2 sheets of heavy weight aluminum foil approximately 20 inches long. (Long enough to wrap all the ingredients in)
Wash cauliflower, remove all leaves, break up the florets and place on foil. Sprinkle oregano and herbemare spice on cauliflower. Distribute chopped green onions; pour cooked bacon and bacon grease on cauliflower, seal foil together.
Preheat BBQ to approximately 500 F place on top rack, cook 40-45 minutes. Open foil, sprinkle on cheese and let melt. Place in a dish and serve.
